Host Committee Welcome Message

On behalf of the organizing committee of the 2005 Ontario Scott Tournament of Hearts, I would like to welcome you to the nation's capital and to the Rideau Curling Club.

I would first like to congratulate all of the teams for getting one step closer to becoming national champions. This year's field promises to deliver some exciting match-ups and fans will be treated to Ontario's best curling.

So much hard work has gone into organizing this event and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers who have carried our Club's rich tradition and history of hosting premier events.

We would also like to welcome the many fans that have traveled across the province to support their teams and the great sport of curling. We encourage you to make yourself at home and take advantage of the many attractions Ottawa has to offer.

We think Girls Rock! We are proud to host this year's event and look forward to a great competition.
